These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the services provided by KAREfarm, LLC, including our website and the grief retreat programs we offer. By registering for a retreat, accessing our website, or using any of our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use our services or website.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our website or registering for one of our grief retreats, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to register for one of our grief retreats. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to participate in any retreat or program offered by KAREfarm, LLC.

3. Use of Our Services

You agree to use our services solely for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not use our services for any illegal, harmful, or fraudulent activities, nor may you use them in a way that could damage, disable, or impair our website or services.

4. Retreat Registration

To register for a retreat, you will need to provide personal information as part of the registration process. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information, and to promptly update it as necessary. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your registration information and account details.

KAREfarm, LLC reserves the right to accept or refuse any registration at our sole discretion.

5. Retreat Cancellation and Refund Policy

In the event that you need to cancel your registration for a retreat, please let the KAREfarm team know as soon as possible if you can no longer attend a retreat. Though we are offering retreats free of charge to our guests, there is a cost associated with each retreat, and we would like to have enough time to allow us to reach out to guests on the waitlist to join the retreat and we can plan accurately.

We reserve the right to cancel any retreat or event in cases of unforeseen circumstances, such as insufficient enrollment or other emergencies.

6. Donation Refund Policy

KAREfarm appreciates your support and generally considers all donations to be non-refundable; however, we may consider refunding a donation in exceptional circumstances such as a processing error, unauthorized charge, or if the intended purpose of the donation cannot be fulfilled, provided the request is made within 30 days of the original donation date.

7. Code of Conduct

Participants in our grief retreats are expected to behave in a respectful and considerate manner toward others. We are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment for everyone. Any disruptive behavior, harassment, or actions that jeopardize the wellbeing of others will not be tolerated, and we reserve the right to remove participants from a retreat at our discretion.

8. Liability Waiver and Assumption of Risk

By participating in a retreat, you acknowledge and accept that grief-related work can be emotionally challenging, and you assume full responsibility for your emotional and mental well-being during the retreat. KAREfarm, LLC and its staff are not responsible for any personal injuries, emotional distress, or other health-related issues that may arise during your participation.

You may be asked to sign a liability waiver as part of your registration, which further acknowledges your understanding and acceptance of the risks involved in participating in a grief retreat.

9. Health and Medical Considerations

Participants are required to inform us of any medical, psychological, or other health conditions that may affect their participation in a retreat. We may request additional information or a medical clearance from a healthcare provider if necessary.

We do not provide medical or psychological services during our retreats, and any treatments or services of this nature must be arranged separately.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, and designs, is the property of KAREfarm, LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use any of this content without express written permission from KAREfarm, LLC, except as allowed by law.

11. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by KAREfarm, LLC. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or any other aspect of third-party websites. You are encouraged to review the terms of use and privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless KAREfarm, LLC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and volunteers from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of our services, participation in our retreats, or violation of these Terms.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. Your continued use of our services after any changes to these Terms will constitute your acceptance of those changes.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kentucky / United States of America, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kentucky / United States of America.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our services if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in any conduct that is harmful to KAREfarm, LLC or other participants. Upon termination, all provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall remain in effect.
